COMPRESSION FITTINGS – PN10 250 SERIES
The Plas-Fit UK PN10 250 Series is a premium range of compression fittings engineered for polyethylene (PE) pipe systems operating at pressures up to 10 bar. This series is WRAS-approved and complies with EN 12201-2 and ISO 14236 standards, making it suitable for potable water installations, agricultural irrigation, and a range of industrial applications.
Each fitting is precision-moulded from high-grade polypropylene (PP-B) with UV stabilisation for prolonged outdoor use, and features a nitrile rubber (NBR) O-ring to ensure a watertight seal even under fluctuating pressure conditions. Designed for quick, secure installation, the 250 Series fittings utilise a proven mechanical compression system.
The inner components include a split locking ring and high-strength acetal grip ring, which work together to grip the pipe and provide axial restraint without the need for additional tools or heat welding. Sizes typically range from 16mm to 110mm, with key configurations including couplers, elbows, tees, reducers, and threaded adapters. Operating temperature range is -10°C to +45°C (for water), making this series highly versatile across UK climate conditions.
