About the Series
The Direct Buried FR fittings are tested and qualified to withstand fire resistance. FR Direct Buried Communications fittings that are buried underground and used for connecting thin Micro-duct pipes, through which the fiber optics are blown.
The DB series is a unique development of a metal-free fitting with proven reliability in installation and a longer lifespan than the current product offerings in this market
Technical Specifications
Fire Retardant: The Direct Buried FR fittings are tested and qualified to withstand fire resistance according to Glow wire test 750ºC according to UNE-EN 61386-1:2008+ERR:2010 – Conduit systems for cable management.
Low Smoke: The Direct Buried FR fittings are tested and qualified for Low Smoke by requirements of BS-EN 61034-2:2005+A1:2013 – Smoke opacity.
Low Halogen: The Direct Buried FR fittings are tested and qualified for Low Halogen by requirements of UNE-EN 60754-1:2014 – Determination of Halogen Acids.
Can be dismantled for re-use.
